Dr. Rich Roberts, Adult Sunday School Teacher

Dr. Richard R. Roberts was born in Chicago and raised primarily in Williamson, West Virginia (home of the famous Hatfield-McCoy feud). At the age of ten, Dr. Roberts’ family lost everything in the famous “Flood of ’77” in the area; however, due to the evangelistic efforts of a local church bus driver, Haskel “Hackie” Runyon, Dr. Roberts has spent his entire life dedicated to serving Christ, including using his natural gift of playing piano for worship services and other church functions.

Dr. Roberts, along with his wife Cynthia, has pastored four churches (Warfield, KY; Vine Grove, KY; Indianapolis, IN; and Richmond, IN). Additionally, Dr. Roberts and his wife are both state-certified teachers and have extensive careers in the public school system. Dr. Roberts has a bachelors degree in English, a masters in education (administration), a second masters in education (learning and technology), and a doctorate in theology.

Dr. Roberts and his wife are the proud parents of a son, Micah, who is presently student teaching through Austin Peay State University.
